Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 6 at 11:30am: brief service of prayer and blessing of creatures in the St. Patrick’s parking lot
Monday, October 7 (4 - 5): walk by with your animal for a blessing near the GGP Greenhouses
Clothing Giveaway (October 19; 9am -1pm) - Come, and invite friends and neighbors; take what you can use. Donated clothes may be dropped off at St. Patrick's October 14-18 (9am-1pm or by appointment, call 970-731-5801)
Fall Quest Youth Retreat at Cathedral Ridge (October 25-27) : Details here: https://episcopalcolorado.org/life-in-faith/our-faith-journey/youth/quest-youth-retreats/ If youth from St. Patrick’s are interested in attending, we can arrange transportation and adult supervision. Funding is available for youth from our region to participate, so the cost per student will be cut in half. St. Patrick’s also has funds available to support youth participation.
Exploring Ethics Series (November, dates TBA): In November, we hope to launch a three week ethics series for youth. At each session, we’ll share a meal, invite an expert in our community to share briefly (and in age appropriate ways) about a relevant ethical concern, then we will discuss with an adult-facilitated middle school discussion group and a separately facilitated high school discussion group.Contact Wren for more information.
Advent Workshop (December 1, 4-6:30): Drop in when you can and join us for this informal and hands on session as we make Advent wreaths, construct gingerbread, and enjoy other seasonal crafts and activities.
